I am the Head of Production, Immersive at Nexus Studios.

Work

I oversee the Immersive Department — the stuff that isn’t a ‘film' is our purview: AR, VR, AI, realtime engines, apps, websites, installations, exhibitions, R&D, products. I get to work across the spectrum of creative and technical possibilities, alongside stunningly talented people able to achieve amazing things.

Currently, doing a lot of work with AI (both generative AI and computer vision.) Completed course at Oxford on AI too.

Personal

I am also a photographer - I am inspired to create images that are the intersection of classically beautiful, explicitly sexual and queer. I feel there is a real aversion to graphic sexuality as something that can be beautiful in a fine art context - outside of a few like Mapplethorpe and Araki, it’s incredibly difficult in the era of sanitised social media. It’s impossible to promote your work if no one can see it. I’d like to widen the breadth of what is acceptable and even revered. I’d love for more work like this to be hanging in the Tate.
